I am going to be attending the University of North Carolina at Raleigh, or NC State, as it is typically called. I am pretty excited about it, as I have just transferred to the university from a community college in the western part of the state. It should be a nice change of pace and scenery for me to live in Raleigh, but I am sure it will be a bit of a culture shock as well. I am looking for apartments for rent in Raleigh and I hope to find one that is available for a good price, something that I will be able to afford as a college student. Obviously, I am not looking for anything that fancy.
But I would prefer to get something in the one bedroom size, as opposed to limiting my search to studio apartments. I have not been very happy with any of the studio apartments I have seen in the past, and I doubt that my luck will be much better in Raleigh. Right now, I am still living in my parents’ house so it wiull be pretty nice to get out and live on my own for a change. I know that is going to take some getting used to as well, because my mom still cooks all of my meals for me, and now I am going to be on my own. I guess I am going to have to learn to cook, but I have never really given that a shot before. First on my mind, of course, will be getting go grades, but I am sure that I will have some time to give cooking a shot as well. After all, I do not want to have to eat frozen dinners for all of my meals at my new apartment.
