Tony Mowbray, Sunderland manager Confident that Ahmad Diallo‘s potential is good enough to be a starting lineup for Manchester United

The 20-year-old is on loan at Cats and has impressed, scoring 12 goals and providing three assists in 36 Championship games. Helping the team win a playoff spot in the final game of the season. Which Mowbray believes Diallo has great potential and can be inserted into the “Red Devils” army as well

“It would be great if we could say that. ‘Let this story continue’ This kid, he will do it again. He’s playing week in week out, he’s scoring goals, the fans love him,” said Mowbray.

“I think Manchester United will be happy. But I think the next step for them is to take Ahmad on a pre-season tour of America, that’s what I think will happen. Then they will see what Ahmad can do.”

“I’m sure Erik ten Hag will keep an eye on Ahmad as I watch all of our loan players. But he will have to see Ahmad every day and feel what he will bring to the ufabet team.

Sunderland currently have 66 points, two points behind sixth-place Millwall in the play-offs. With their final game against Preston on Saturday.
